Paralegal
Sam Pazzano
Sam Pazzano brings a perspective unlike any other practitioner in Ontario's legal field; he spent years as an acclaimed courts reporter for the Toronto Sun, covering trials, hearings, and proceedings across the province's justice system. Where most people see a courtroom from the outside, Sam spent his career inside them, watching how cases are won and lost, how advocates prepare, and what it truly takes to fight for a client's rights.
Now, as a licensed paralegal and proud recipient of the We Defend You Full Scholarship, Sam has crossed to the other side of the bar. He combines his deep, firsthand knowledge of Ontario's courts; the procedures, the prosecutors, the process, with a journalist's instinct for cutting through noise and getting to the facts that matter.
His years reporting on the justice system mean he understands the real consequences of a charge: not just the legal outcome, but the impact on careers, families, and reputations. Sam is tenacious, meticulous, and driven by a genuine desire to see justice done. If you're facing charges in Ontario, you want someone in your corner who has seen every angle of the courtroom, and that's exactly what Sam Pazzano delivers.
Paralegal
Carli Geist
Carli Geist is a Licensed Paralegal regulated by the Law Society of Ontario, with a practice devoted entirely to traffic ticket defence and Provincial Offences Act matters. Based in Hamilton, she represents clients at Provincial Offences courts throughout Ontario, from the GTA and Niagara Region to cottage country and beyond.
Carli understands that a traffic conviction is never just a fine. It can mean a suspended licence, a spiked insurance premium, a lost livelihood, or a permanent mark on your driving record. That's why she takes every case seriously; reviewing every piece of disclosure, identifying every available defence, and fighting for the outcome that protects what matters most.
Her practice covers the full spectrum of HTA and POA offences: stunt driving, careless driving, speeding, no insurance, suspended licence, hand-held device charges, CVOR matters, and more. Clients regularly avoid appearing in court personally, with Carli handling everything on their behalf.
If you've been charged with a traffic offence in Ontario, Carli Geist is the advocate who will review your case, explain your options clearly, and go to bat for you in court.
